The Waialua Sugar Mill is next door to Haliewa but 100 years behind time wise and you can find some great shopping oppertunities like Island X, Waialua Coffee and the North Shore Soap Factory. For the early birds the Saturday Farmers Markets on the North Shore are a must see. One Farmers Market is at the Sunset Beach elementry School and the other is in the front of the Wialua Sugar Mill.
